Baer is looking for SAP Security Consultant for a 6 month Federal remote Project

Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Application Security Consultant to support SAP transformation and cloud migration initiatives, including ECC to S/4HANA. The role will focus on SAP security, role design, access management, compliance, and secure deployment across the SAP landscape.
Description:

• Lead SAP application security activities for S/4HANA upgrades, transformations, and cloud migrations.
• Design, build, test, and maintain SAP single and composite roles.
• Redesign roles and authorizations during SAP upgrades and migrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP security, authorization, and access issues.
• Support user provisioning, authentication, SSO, and access governance.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, SoD, IT audit, and security requirements.
• Define and validate security requirements for cloud-based SAP environments.
• Support migration cutover, including access validation, privileged access, emergency access, and post-migration readiness.
• Identify security risks and recommend appropriate remediation solutions.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, compliance, and operations teams.
• Maintain documentation for roles, authorizations, security designs, and audit evidence.
• Stay current with SAP S/4HANA security, cloud identity, SSO, and authorization models.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in SAP Application Security.
• Hands-on experience securing SAP environments from development through production.
• Strong knowledge of SAP authorizations and S/4HANA security.
• Experience designing and maintaining SAP roles and resolving complex access issues.
• Knowledge of SOX, Segregation of Duties (SoD), and SAP ITGC.
• Experience supporting SAP upgrades, transformations, or cloud migration projects.
• Understanding of SAP cloud security, identity, and SSO.
• Ability to translate business requirements into secure access and authorization designs.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
