Description
We are looking for a senior PowerApps Developer to support a Financial Services team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position focuses on building and enhancing business applications using Microsoft Power Platform, with an emphasis on improving workflows, modernizing forms, and creating practical solutions for internal users. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders, organize existing SharePoint-based processes, and help expand team knowledge through cross-training and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop custom business applications using PowerApps to streamline daily operations and improve user experience.
Build automated workflows with Microsoft Power Automate to reduce manual effort and support more efficient business processes.
Partner with stakeholders to evaluate existing SharePoint and InfoPath solutions, then transform them into modern Power Platform applications.
Organize and structure business data and process components within SharePoint to support scalable application design.
Create intuitive user interfaces that align with business needs and promote ease of adoption across teams.
Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to team members through cross-training and collaborative support.
Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and implement enhancements based on user feedback.
Document solution design, workflow logic, and development standards to support maintainability and future updates.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in software development with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Power Platform.
Proven experience developing solutions with PowerApps and Microsoft Power Automate in enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint design, configuration, and integration with Power Platform tools.
Experience working with InfoPath and converting legacy forms or processes into modern application solutions.
Solid understanding of user interface design principles and the ability to build clear, functional business applications.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and support cross-functional collaboration.
Senior-level experience gathering requirements, translating business needs into solutions, and delivering maintainable applications.
