Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Product Compliance Solution Architect to design, implement, and support compliance solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will translate regulatory requirements into scalable business and technology solutions while ensuring products comply with global regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements.
This role will work closely with Product Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, IT, Quality, Procurement, and business stakeholders to drive compliance digitization initiatives and maintain regulatory data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
- Define end-to-end solution architecture for Product Compliance processes.
- Design scalable solutions supporting regulatory and product compliance requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, integrations, and data models.
- Lead architecture reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards.
- Develop solution roadmaps for compliance transformation initiatives.
Product Compliance Management
- Support product compliance programs related to:
- RoHS
- REACH
- Conflict Minerals
- Proposition 65
- SCIP
- WEEE
- PFAS and emerging regulations
- Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into business and system requirements.
- Ensure compliance data traceability throughout product development and supply chain processes.
- Support regulatory data integrity and governance.
Business & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with Regulatory Affairs, Product Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Supply Chain, and IT teams.
- Conduct requirements-gathering workshops and solution design sessions.
- Act as a technical advisor for compliance transformation initiatives.
- Present solution roadmaps and architecture recommendations to business and leadership teams.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Data & Systems Integration
- Design integrations between PLM, ERP, Compliance Management, and Supplier Management systems.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, traceability, and governance of compliance data.
- Define integration approaches and data flows across product and supply chain systems.
- Support scalable data models for regulatory and compliance information.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Product Compliance processes and regulatory requirements.
- Experience translating regulatory requirements into business and technology solutions.
- Strong solution architecture and systems integration experience.
- Experience working with PLM, ERP, compliance, and supplier management systems.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle and supply chain processes.
- Experience with compliance data management and governance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience conducting requirements workshops and architecture/design sessions.
- Ability to work with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

- Experience with SAP Product Compliance solutions.
- Experience with RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, Prop 65, SCIP, WEEE, or PFAS compliance.
- Experience with product regulatory data and material compliance.
- Experience integrating PLM and ERP systems.
- Experience with supplier compliance and regulatory data.
- Experience leading enterprise architecture reviews.
- Experience presenting technical roadmaps to senior business and technology leadership.
- Experience with compliance digitization and transformation programs.
