StaffRight Associates is sourcing for a global leader in the consumer goods sector to find an elite Automation Engineer capable of steering high-impact digital manufacturing transformations. This critical role demands a visionary technical leader who sits at the intersection of advanced manufacturing automation, industrial digitalization, and operational cybersecurity.

You will spearhead capital projects, modernize legacy infrastructure, and elevate factory floor capabilities to the highest standards of Industry 4.0 maturity. For an ambitious engineer, this position offers the mandate and resources to design and execute a long-term digital evolution across world-class production facilities.

2. What You’ll Do

  • Drive Digital Transformation: Architect and execute comprehensive automation upgrades and industrial digitalization strategies that move manufacturing facilities toward a highly connected, visible, and predictive operational state.

  • Lead Capital Projects: Manage major capital engineering deployments from conception through integration, taking full ownership of project life cycles, engineering resources, and multi-million-dollar budgetary parameters.

  • Champion Plant Cybersecurity: Oversee and safeguard the integrity of Operations Technology Networks (OTN) and industrial control systems, serving as the primary authority on factory-floor cyber defense.

  • Modernize Infrastructure: Engineer long-term lifecycle and financial plans to systematically migrate legacy, obsolete hardware and software into modern, fully supported corporate ecosystems.

  • Maximize Plant Efficiency: Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to continuously optimize production lines, integrating feedback to improve connectivity, visibility, and site adaptability.

  • Synthesize Standards: Implement rigid corporate information systems standards, ensuring all local deployments align with regional and global security, communication, and automation frameworks.

  • Cultivate Capability: Elevate site-wide digital maturity indices by introducing advanced computerization, Internet of Things (IoT) frameworks, and training programs to scale up internal technical capabilities.

3. What You Bring

  • Industry Pedigree: A minimum of 8 years of dedicated automation engineering and technical project management experience explicitly within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Food and Beverage, or Pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors.

  • The Core Triad: Proven, deep professional expertise spanning all three critical domains: Advanced Automation, Manufacturing Digitalization, and Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity.

  • Lifecycle & Network Mastery: Solid background managing Operations Technology Networks (OTN), control system architectures, and executing technical issue escalation procedures.

  • Academic Foundation: A Bachelor''''s degree in Engineering from an accredited university.

  • Mobility: Flexibility and willingness to travel as required to support multi-site initiatives and physical integrations.
