Role Description
System Installation and Maintenance
Setup and configuration: Install SAP applications, databases, and core software components.
Patches and upgrades: Apply support packages, kernel updates, and relevant SAP notes.
Landscape management: Handle client copies, system refreshes, and Transport Management System (TMS) configurations.

Monitoring and Performance
Daily health checks: Monitor system logs, work processes, and database growth.
Performance tuning: Optimize memory allocation, database parameters, and load balancing.
Background jobs: Schedule, monitor, and manage automatic background tasks.
Security and User Administration
User management: Create user accounts, lock/unlock clients, and assign access roles.
Authorization troubleshooting: Resolve permission conflicts and run security audits.
Connectivity: Manage Remote Function Calls (RFC) and maintain secure network links.
Reliability and Support
Backup and recovery: Execute routine database backups and plan disaster recovery procedures.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose technical root causes for system failures and interface errors.
Vendor coordination: Open and manage support requests directly with SAP Support Portal.
