Google Cloud Platform Python Developer

Duration: 9+ months contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient web applications using Python, React, and NodeJS.
• Implement and manage cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), with a focus on Cloud Run and Cloud SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and front-end development using React and NodeJS.
• In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform cloud architecture, including Cloud Run and Cloud SQL.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in using GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Generative AI.
