Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional Consultant with strong, hands-on expertise in JD Edwards (JDE) Financials. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to support, enhance, and optimize JDE Financial modules in a remote environment while aligning with Central Time business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support functional activities for JDE Financials, including requirement gathering, solution design, and system configuration.
- Provide hands-on expertise across JDE Financial modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cost Accounting.
- Collaborate with business users to analyze requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Support JDE implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing production support.
- Partner with technical teams to support integrations, customizations, and reporting needs.
- Perform functional testing, support UAT, and resolve system issues.
- Create and maintain documentation, provide end-user training, and support knowledge transfer.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for JDE Financial processes and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience as a JDE Functional Consultant with deep expertise in JDE Financials.
- Solid understanding of financial and accounting processes.
- Experience with system configuration, troubleshooting, and functional support.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
