Job Title: DevOps Engineer / DevOps Architect Jenkins, Azure & ServiceNow
Location: Remote

Duration: 12 Months Contract
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer / DevOps Architect with strong expertise in Jenkins, Bitbucket, Azure, and ServiceNow integration to design, implement, and govern enterprise CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building secure deployment pipelines, integrating ITSM approval workflows, and implementing governance, monitoring, and compliance controls across Azure environments.

Must Have:

Jenkins CI/CD
Azure deployment and cloud services
Bitbucket integration
Groovy scripting
Shell/Bash scripting
CI/CD pipeline architecture
ServiceNow / ITSM integration
API and plugin integration
RBAC and security controls
Monitoring and observability
Governance, audit, and compliance automation

Key Responsibilities

Conduct discovery and assessment of current DevOps landscape including Jenkins, Bitbucket, Azure deployments, and access models.
Design and define target-state DevOps architecture with governance, security, and standardization controls.
Build and manage Jenkins CI/CD pipelines using Groovy and Shell scripting.
Integrate Bitbucket repositories with Jenkins and external tools using APIs and plugins.
Establish Jenkins/Bitbucket pipelines as the authorized deployment path into Azure.
Implement RBAC and policy controls to eliminate unauthorized or manual deployments.
Integrate ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM tools for change validation and approval gating.
Implement automated go/no-go deployment controls and non-bypassable approval gates.
Design pipeline observability solutions including monitoring, alerts, and performance metrics.
Develop audit dashboards and deployment traceability solutions for compliance reporting.
Enable detection and escalation workflows for unauthorized deployments and policy violations.
Generate audit evidence including logs, approvals, deployment metadata, and incident response runbooks.

Infrastructure as Code
Azure governance and policy management
