Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in Hogan applications and COBOL development to support enterprise banking and financial services systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with mainframe technologies, application development, production support, and banking-related systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL.
Work extensively with Hogan applications and related banking systems.
Develop, debug, test, and troubleshoot mainframe programs.
Work with JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM as required.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and production support.
Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
Ensure application quality, performance, and compliance with banking standards.
Required Skills
8+ years of experience in Mainframe Development.
Strong hands-on experience with COBOL.
Mandatory experience with Hogan applications.
Experience with JCL and DB2.
Knowledge of CICS and VSAM.
Experience in banking or financial services environments.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to attend a face-to-face interview in McLean, VA.
