job summary:
We are seeking a passionate Data Scientist to join the Player Data and Insights team. In this role, you will drive insights that inform the game strategy, with a focus on Consumer Products, Out of Game Experiences, and Partnerships. You will collaborate closely with stakeholder teams to enhance consumer products reporting, evaluate franchise opportunities, and recommend data-driven strategies to level up the connection across the franchise.

responsibilities:
- Partner with the Consumer Products team and Insights data engineering to turn Consumer Products data into clear reporting and actionable insights.
- Identify key learnings from your analysis and synthesize them into recommendations for stakeholders.
- Conduct data analysis for stakeholder groups across Partnerships, Marketing, and Consumer Products, including understanding ROI of out-of-game initiatives and optimizing for in-game metrics.
- Maintain dashboards in PowerBI that enable stakeholders to understand the business and support onboarding to other self-service tools.
qualifications:
Data Analytics (5+ years)
SQL (5+ years; SparkSQL, Databricks, or Azure Data Explorer preferred)
Dashboarding tools (2+ years; PowerBI preferred)
Proficiency in Python (PySpark is a bonus)
Experience with Github Copilot AI tools
Statistical analysis and data visualization
Experience in the gaming industry or an interest in games
