Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Platform Architect to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications and integration platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Apache Kafka, AWS, and enterprise integration architecture, with a proven ability to define technical strategy and lead large-scale platform implementations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Define enterprise integration architecture using Spring Integration, Apache Kafka, REST APIs, and event-driven microservices.
Architect and develop high-performance, secure, and resilient distributed systems on AWS.
Design messaging, API integration, and asynchronous communication solutions.
Lead technical architecture discussions, code reviews, and mentor development teams.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
Ensure platform scalability, performance, security, and high availability.
Establish best practices for software architecture, CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native development.

Required Skills

10+ years of Java development experience with strong architecture expertise.
Hands-on experience with Java 11/17, Spring Boot, and Spring Integration.
Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka, event-driven architecture, and messaging systems.
Experience designing cloud-native applications on AWS.
Expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
Strong understanding of application security, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and AWS IAM.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with AWS services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation/Terraform.
Familiarity with API management platforms such as Kong, Apigee, or MuleSoft.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer certification is a plus.
