Job Description:
Looking for an experienced Citrix Administrator to manage, support and optimize the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment.
The role involves administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, upgrades, patching, and operational support of Citrix infrastructure in a large enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, administer and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment.
Manage Machine Catalogs, Delivery Groups, published applications and virtual desktops.
Perform proactive monitoring and health checks of Citrix infrastructure including Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, NetScaler/ADC, License Servers and supporting components.
Monitor resource utilization (CPU, Memory, I/O) and optimize platform performance.
Resolve L2/L3 incidents related to Citrix infrastructure, published applications and virtual desktops.
Perform root cause analysis and support Problem and Change Management activities.
Build, maintain, and update Golden Images and Master Images.
Manage user profiles, FSLogix/Profile Containers and Citrix Group Policies.
Execute Citrix upgrades, patching, hotfix installations and maintenance activities.
Administer user access, application provisioning and troubleshooting.
Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, runbooks and knowledge articles.
Provide support during major incidents and participate in on-call rotation when required.
Must-Have Skills: Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD), Citrix ADC/NetScaler, StoreFront, Director, Studio, Windows Server, Active Directory, FSLogix, Citrix Upgrades & Patching, ITIL-based Incident Management, PowerShell.
Preferred Skills: Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, VMware, Intune, Entra ID, ServiceNow
