1948 Senior Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) - (HighJump / Körber/Infios - Warehouse Advantage)
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly capable and forward-thinking Senior WMS SME with hands-on experience supporting Infios / HighJump (Körber) Warehouse Advantage - Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). This role plays a key part in analyzing, configuring, and enhancing our WMS to support evolving warehouse, logistics, and distribution requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of warehouse operations and a proven track record of working with Infios/HighJump (Körber) solutions in a fast-moving environment.
Essential Responsibilities & Functions
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert and main support resource for the Infios/HighJump (Körber) WMS across multiple warehouse and distribution sites worldwide.
- Partner with warehouse, logistics, and IT teams to capture system needs and identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Configure, design, and test workflows, integrations, and system enhancements within the WMS.
- Provide day-to-day operational support, troubleshoot system issues, and deliver timely resolutions.
- Review system data and performance trends to uncover issues and recommend improvements.
- Create and maintain documentation such as requirements, configuration updates, and training materials.
- Contribute to WMS implementations, upgrades, migrations, and new warehouse rollouts.
- Work with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and consulting partners to manage support and project activities.
- Train users and provide ongoing guidance on system functionality and best practices.
- Ensure accurate and reliable system communication between the WMS and other applications such as ERP and EDI.
- Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining a professional and organized approach.
- Uphold confidentiality standards in line with company policies.
- Perform additional related duties as needed.
Qualifications for Success
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Infios/HighJump (Körber) WMS, including involvement in system implementations.
MUST HAVE:
Deep WMS Functional & Configuration Expertise (HighJump / Körber/Infios - Warehouse Advantage)
Not just “used it,” but:
- Advanced configuration (rules, workflows, RF, task management)
- Troubleshooting transactions and inventory discrepancies
- Integrations (ERP, TMS, automation systems)
- Upgrade & enhancement experience
Warehouse & Manufacturing Operational Knowledge
Beyond system knowledge:
- Inbound / Outbound process optimization
- Inventory control (cycle count, lot/serial, traceability)
- Pick/pack/ship methodologies
- Labor & productivity metrics
- Manufacturing integration (WIP, staging, backflushing)
Data & Reporting (SQL + Analytics)
- Writing complex SQL queries
- Building operational dashboards
- Root-cause analysis via data
- KPI design (fill rate, inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock time)
- Supporting data-driven decisions
- Diagnose issues from raw tables
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies via SQL
