Role Summary

We are seeking a Systems Integration Administrator who will serve as the primary on-site and hands-on resource supporting M&A technical integrations. This role directly impacts the success of cutovers, migrations, and user readiness by executing work outlined in the Technical Integration Playbook and adapting effectively to a variety of acquired site environments.

In this role, you will support Microsoft 365 tenant migrations, network and security integrations, phone system cutovers, device transitions, and daily operational tasks that keep environments stable and productive. You will also perform ongoing administration across Microsoft 365, Intune, and core infrastructure components to ensure reliable performance before, during, and after each integration event.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site technical tasks including data collection, hardware installation, racking/cabling, VLAN configuration, subnet management, Wi-Fi setup, and IP schema enforcement.
  • Support tenant-to-tenant migrations (Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace to M365), including mailbox, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams content validation, identity mapping, and cutover support.
  • Assist in migrating devices and profiles from on-premises Active Directory to Entra ID, including profile migration tools (e.g., PowerSyncPro), enrollment steps, and OneDrive Known Folder Move.
  • Support Vonage phone system migrations: device provisioning, physical phone installs, user cutovers, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Provide on-site user support during cutovers (printer mapping, access issues, endpoint troubleshooting, new phone system guidance).
  • Handle day-to-day Microsoft 365 administration including user provisioning, license management, and troubleshooting across Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Manage packaging, deployment, and testing of applications using Intune, Group Policy, and approved tools.
  • Assist with Intune enrollments, configuration profiles, security baselines, compliance policies, and advanced endpoint troubleshooting.
  • Support general infrastructure operations including patching, monitoring, backup/DR validation, DNS/DHCP, and Active Directory tasks.
  • Assist Senior Engineers with playbook-driven integration tasks such as firewall decommissioning, network enforcement, and security alignment.
  • Support security-focused tasks including MFA enforcement, endpoint policy alignment, and basic vulnerability checks during onboarding.
  • Participate in data discovery, migration planning, and validation for file share migrations to OneDrive/SharePoint.
  • Coordinate with ISPs, telecom vendors, and hardware providers during deployments and cutovers.
  • Document risks, issues, and progress using JIRA/Teams/SharePoint, escalating when appropriate.
  • Contribute thorough documentation—including as-builts, updated runbooks, lessons learned—back into the Master Integration Playbook.
  • Deliver end-user training and knowledge-transfer sessions at acquired sites.

Key Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Systems Administrator or Network Administrator.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills including user management, licensing, and troubleshooting Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Solid networking experience: VLANs, subnets, IP schemas, switching/routing, DNS/DHCP, and Wi-Fi configuration.
  • Experience with on-site hardware installation, racking/cabling, and physical deployment tasks.
  • Working knowledge of Intune for device management and application deployment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to support multi-site and fast-paced environments.
  • Availability for weekend cutovers and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as zero-trust principles and endpoint protection.
  • Excellent communication, adaptability, and customer-service skills, especially during on-site cutovers and high-visibility events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting M&A or multi-site technical deployments.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, Zscaler, Universal Print, or enterprise phone system tools (Teams Phone, SIP, etc.).
  • Basic PowerShell or scripting experience.
  • CompTIA Network+ / A+ or similar certification.
  • Experience using JIRA or JIRA Service Management.
  • Exposure to Teams Phone, Direct Routing, or SIP-based telephony.
