Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced AWS Architect to design and lead the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud architecture, migration strategies, and DevOps practices, with the ability to drive enterprise-level cloud transformations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS architectures.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premise or other cloud platforms to AWS.
• Define and enforce cloud architecture best practices, standards, and governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and DevOps teams to design solutions aligned with business goals.
• Architect high availability, disaster recovery, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement security best practices including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams.
• Evaluate new AWS services and recommend adoption strategies.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and application issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong expertise in AWS Cloud Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, API Gateway.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture patterns and microservices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, routing, load balancing).
• Expertise in cloud security, IAM roles, policies, and compliance standards.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK stack).
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Java, or Bash).
• Strong knowledge of database systems (RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora).

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven systems.
• Experience with big data and analytics services (Redshift, EMR, Glue).
• Familiarity with security frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
