Responsibilities:
As our Mastercam Programmer, your responsibilities will be as diverse as they are exciting. You will:
1. Develop and implement CNC programs for Makino machines using Mastercam software.
2. Design and manufacture precision molds and fixtures for various applications.
3. Operate and maintain high-speed milling machinery to ensure optimal performance.
4. Collaborate with the tool shop team to strategize and optimize production processes.
5. Utilize your knowledge of rubber or plastics in the development and production of materials.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the CNC machines or the manufactured products.
7. Continually monitor and adjust programming to improve efficiency and product quality.
8. Maintain detailed records of all programming changes and updates.
9. Train and mentor junior team members on Mastercam programming and precision manufacturing techniques.
10. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our company remains at the forefront of the manufacturing industry.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate, innovative, and ready to make a significant impact. The ideal candidate will have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Mastercam programming, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in precision manufacturing and programming Makino CNC machines.
3. Hands-on experience in a tool shop environment.
4. A strong background in high-speed milling and the design and manufacture of molds and fixtures.
5. Experience with rubber or plastics will be a major advantage.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery and manufacturing issues.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
9. The ability to work well in a team and mentor junior staff members.
10. A dedication to staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
