Summary
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: 10+ years of professional backend development experience
Core Technical Skills:
- Languages: Strong proficiency in Java 11/17+ (Streams, Lambdas, Collections, Multithreading/Concurrency).
- Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate, and Spring Security.
- API Design: Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience integrating third-party services.
- Databases: Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL). Familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB) is often required or preferred.
- Tools: Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with caching solutions (Redis, Caffeine).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).
- Knowledge of gRPC or GraphQL.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to debug complex distributed systems.
- Clear communication skills for collaborating with product managers, frontend developers, and QA.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of features, and adapt to evolving requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Education
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
