Summary

Job Title: ServiceNow Platform Ops Engineer
Remote – offsite
Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain ServiceNow production and non-production environments, ensuring optimal platform health, performance, and stability.
  • Manage platform configurations, system properties, plugins, integrations, and platform features.
  • Conduct platform health assessments and coordinate remediation activities to maintain operational excellence.
  • Ensure platform adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Support platform maintenance activities, including patches, hotfixes, and security updates.
  • Coordinate instance cloning activities across development, QA, test, and production environments, maintaining environment consistency.
  • Manage upgrade preparation, environment validation, and post-upgrade stabilization to ensure seamless platform updates.
  • Support developer access requests, admin permissions, and environment provisioning.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for ServiceNow operational support, leading weekly reviews with support teams and stakeholders.
  • Review incidents, cases, problem records, change requests, and platform advisories, escalating critical issues as needed.
  • Track platform defects, PRBs, support cases, and remediation plans to closure.
  • Participate in governance, change review, and architecture discussions affecting the platform.

Requirements

  • Experience in ServiceNow System Administration and Platform Operations.
  • Knowledge of ITSM, HRSD, CSM, Employee Center, Service Catalog, Virtual Agent, and Flow Designer.
  • Experience with Platform Upgrade and Release Management.
  • Proficiency in Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management.
  • Knowledge of Instance Cloning and Environment Management.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Integrations and Plugin Administration.
  • Strong operational support and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to monitor platform performance and enforce platform governance.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • On-Site work requirement.
