Financial Analyst

Hiring! Financial Analyst for direct client. This is a W2, Contract to hire based position in Baltimore, MD. Candidates will be required to travel to the client site on a monthly basis and attend an onsite interview.

Job Description:

Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data as well as preparing reports, models, presentations and recommendations for leaders of a business or clients. Interfaces regularly with project managers and task leads. Supports moderately complex projects.

Job requirement:

• Analytical
• Strong back ground in accounting and financial reports, must have experience in analyzing and verifying data and financial reports to produce the financial results for assigned business units and challenge accounting processes.
• Experience in Investigates and researches problem account reconciliation to improve controls over general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and balance sheet activity.
• Must have exp. Analyzing trends, calculations and verifying data.
• Collaborate with other areas to develop reporting specifications, methods and procedures, and prioritizes requests.
• Perform complex analysis, gathers, compiles and interprets financial data to ensure compliance with applicable regulations or guidelines, identify trends and provide insight for decision making. Analyzes and prepare journal entries, monthly account reconciliation, responding to internal and external auditors, management, and finance department inquiries.
