IAM Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Manhattan Beach, CA that is seeking an IAM Manager to lead and mature an enterprise IAM program. This role will drive IAM strategy, governance, architecture, and operations across workforce, privileged, non-human, and AI-enabled identities. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership experience and a passion for advancing cybersecurity initiatives. This is an opportunity to lead a critical cybersecurity function and help shape the future of identity security within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the IAM function, including engineering, governance, and architecture
* Develop and execute IAM strategy, roadmap, and security standards
* Oversee authentication, access management, privileged access, and identity governance programs
* Drive initiatives around MFA, risk-based authentication, passkeys, PAM, and Zero Trust principles
* Partner with infrastructure, cloud, operations, and business teams to enhance identity security controls
* Support and guide platforms such as Okta, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID
* Manage IAM vendors, technology evaluations, implementations, and service delivery
* Lead, mentor, and grow a team of IAM professionals
* Define and report on IAM metrics, KPIs, and risk reduction initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of experience in IAM, cybersecurity, cloud security, or related disciplines
* 3+ years of people leadership or management experience
* Strong knowledge of authentication, authorization, RBAC, least privilege, identity lifecycle management, and privileged access
* Experience with IAM technologies such as Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Okta, SSO, MFA, IGA, and PAM solutions
* Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture, cloud identity security, machine identities, and governance best practices
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Experience:
* Experience developing IAM roadmaps and enterprise security standards
* Background managing implementation projects, vendors, and cross-functional initiatives
* Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
