Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Unix Administrator with strong expertise in C, Unix, SQL, and Healthcare MMIS environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting Unix-based systems, troubleshooting applications and processes, and working with healthcare-related MMIS systems.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Unix/Linux administration and support
• Hands-on programming/support experience with C
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts
• Mandatory experience working with Healthcare MMIS systems
• Experience with Unix shell scripting and system troubleshooting
• Ability to analyze logs, identify issues, and resolve technical problems
• Experience supporting enterprise-level applications and batch processes
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Medicaid/Healthcare IT environments
• Knowledge of MMIS applications, interfaces, and healthcare data workflows
• Experience with production support and incident resolution
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Work Arrangement

• Remote Candidates can work remotely
• Kentucky location preferred
• Contract position
• Hybrid/onsite work is not required
