Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mobile test automation using Java, Appium, and Selenium WebDriver, along with hands-on experience in building and maintaining mobile automation frameworks for iOS and Android platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain native mobile automation frameworks using Java and Appium.
  • Create, execute, and maintain mobile automation test scripts, analyze results, and publish test reports.
  • Perform mobile automation testing across iOS and Android emulators/simulators and real devices.
  • Work with mobile cloud testing platforms such as Perfecto and Sauce Labs.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables by leveraging responsive and scalable testing frameworks.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, test planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in Agile Scrum and Waterfall environments.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve automation and testing issues efficiently.
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and results clearly to stakeholders.


Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong experience in Java-based mobile automation.
  • Hands-on expertise with Appium and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Experience testing native mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
  • Exposure to mobile cloud architectures/tools such as Perfecto or Sauce Labs.
  • Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.


Nice to Have
  • Experience with CI/CD integration for mobile automation.
  • Knowledge of test reporting and logging frameworks.
  • Banking or financial services domain experience.
