Position: Senior Delphi Developer 
Location: Remote Role

Duration: Long term Contract 

About the Role: 

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Delphi Developer with proven expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining healthcare-related software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Delphi programming, database-driven application development, and deep knowledge of healthcare workflows, regulatory compliance, and industry standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Product Owners, Business Analysts, and QA—to deliver robust, secure, and scalable solutions for our healthcare clients. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Delphi applications with a focus on healthcare-specific modules. 
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to translate healthcare business requirements into technical solutions. 
• Optimize and refactor legacy Delphi codebases for performance, scalability, and maintainability. 
• Integrate Delphi applications with third-party healthcare systems (e.g., EMRs, EHRs, pharmacy management systems, HL7/FHIR APIs). 
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards (HIPAA, HL7, NCPDP, DSCSA, etc.). 
• Participate in full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including design, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment. 
• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and conduct code reviews. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and non-production environments. 
• Work with QA teams to establish and execute test strategies, including unit and integration testing. 
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and best practices. 

Qualifications & Skills 

Required: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 
• 7+ years of Delphi development experience, with a focus on enterprise-grade applications. 
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns. 
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL). 
• Solid understanding of healthcare business processes and terminology. 
• Proven experience integrating with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, NCPDP). 
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2). 
• Experience in agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). 

Preferred: 

• Experience with cloud-based systems (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform). 
• Knowledge of healthcare analytics, billing systems, or specialty pharmacy workflows. 
• Exposure to complementary technologies (.NET, C#, REST APIs). 
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments. 
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
