Contract Python/Java Developer – AWS, SQL-to-DynamoDB Migration

Need  15+ year expreience and (10 +year US Experience )

Note: Need Java Devloper turned into Python Devloper have AWS and Migration Experience and Have hands on coding expirence with them and needed to in a big corporation in their recent projects 

Note:- Need only Texas Candidate 

We’re hiring nine contract developers to support a major cloud and database modernization project. This is a remote, project-based role with mandatory travel to Dallas for one week at a time, several times a year (expenses paid).

You’ll join a small, standalone team migrating a high-scale SQL system to AWS DynamoDB, rewriting services from Java to Python, and integrating Amazon Q and DMS tooling. We’re hiring for an immediate start, with 2 team members ideally in place by early August.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Refactor and rewrite backend services from Java to Python
• Support migration from SQL to DynamoDB using AWS Database Migration Services (DMS)
• Collaborate with DevOps on GitLab pipelines and AWS architecture
• Contribute to AI integration using Amazon Q or similar services
• Lead or support daily SCRUM if assigned (1 of 4 roles will own Agile cadence)
