The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is sourcing for a rapidly expanding industrial manufacturing leader in the Hartford, Connecticut area to identify a visionary leader for their engineering division. In this pivotal role, you will head a dedicated team focusing on power distribution initiatives, automated systems, and advanced electrical layouts.

Managing this search, StaffRight Associates is looking for a strategic professional who will champion continuous improvement, optimize operational frameworks, and spearhead engineering breakthroughs to support long-term corporate scaling within the energy and industrial sectors.

What You’ll Do

  • Champion and guide a multidisciplinary group of technical personnel and engineering professionals.

  • Architect electrical layouts and sophisticated control system frameworks tailored for industrial environments.

  • Synthesize complex client requirements and specifications into highly effective, manufacturable production plans.

  • Authorize comprehensive engineering portfolios, ensuring absolute accuracy across schematics, technical blueprints, and material lists.

  • Drive corporate bidding processes, proposal generation, and end-to-end project implementations.

  • Maximize operational efficiency by executing continuous improvement protocols across departmental workflows and quality systems.

  • Execute rigorous technical design evaluations and deliver expert mentorship across all phases of the project lifecycle.

  • Calibrate project timelines, balance engineering staff allocations, and establish clear departmental goals.

  • Enforce strict adherence to all governing safety protocols, regulatory mandates, and electrical industry guidelines.

  • Cultivate strong technical alignments and clear communication channels with clients, external vendors, and cross-functional corporate teams.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor''s Degree In Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.

  • 7+ Years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.

  • 3+ Years of proven success in a supervisory, management, or leadership capacity.

  • Deep knowledge of Electrical Systems, Industrial Controls, and Power Distribution.

  • Mastery of Electrical CAD Software alongside comprehensive Engineering Documentation workflows.

  • Complete familiarity with modern Electrical Codes and relevant Industry Standards.

  • Advanced capabilities in Project Management Skills, Communication, and organizational leadership.

  • Exceptional Analytical Capabilities and Problem-Solving Abilities to address intricate technical obstacles.

  • Prior background leveraging Industrial Automation Platforms is strongly preferred.

  • Practical exposure to ERP/MRP Systems is considered a distinct advantage.

  • Complete willingness and ability to work full-time in an On-Site capacity in the Hartford, CT region.
