Job Title: Trade floor Support specialist

Location: New York, NY
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Duration: 12 Months Contract
Schedule: Standard time ( 8 AM to 5 PM ET)

Day To Day Responsbilities:

• Provide real-time production support for trading and risk systems used by Credit and Rates desks Act as first-line support for traders, quickly diagnosing and resolving application, data, and system issues


• Monitor system health, performance, and alerts using Dynatrace and/or Splunk Perform SQL querying to investigate data issues, trade discrepancies, and reporting problems


• Use Unix/Linux for log analysis, job monitoring, and system troubleshooting Support trade lifecycle and order flow through TOMS (Trade Order Management System)


• Leverage Bloomberg Terminal for market data validation, trade checks, and issue investigation


• Escalate issues appropriately and collaborate with development, infrastructure, and vendor teams


• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews


• Support production releases and changes with minimal impact to trading activity

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience supporting front-office or trade floor environments


• Strong understanding of Fixed Income products, specifically within Credit and/or Rates


• Experience with Bloomberg Terminal specifically TOMS (trade order management system)


• Hands-on experience with application support in a high-availability environment


• Strong SQL querying skills for data analysis and issue resolution


• Solid experience working in Unix/Linux environments


• Experience with Dynatrace and/or Splunk for monitoring and alerting


• Ability to work onsite and directly on the trading floor

Nice To Have:

• Basic Python knowledge

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $70 - 75 per hour
  This reflects base compensation and may vary based on candidate qualifications.
