Job Title: Azure DevOps / Platform Engineer (AKS Focus)

Location: Hybrid (Onsite + Remote Mon/Fri)
Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/week) + On-call rotation (1 week every 4 weeks)

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Azure DevOps / Platform Engineer with strong experience in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to support and enhance our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, thrives in a collaborative environment, and proactively improves systems, documentation, and processes while working.

Must-Have Requirements

• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) non-negotiable
• 3 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud / Platform Engineering (may expand to 7 10 years)
• Strong experience with:
• GitOps practices (core methodology)
• CI/CD pipelines
• Linux environments
• Flux (GitOps tool)
• Proven experience with technical documentation
• Must have proactively created and maintained documentation in past roles

Strong Nice-to-Haves

• Monitoring & observability tools:
• Prometheus / Grafana
• Cloud database experience:
• PostgreSQL
• MongoDB
• Deployment tooling:
• Helm
• Additional monitoring/observability:
• Splunk
• Dynatrace

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AKS-based infrastructure
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitOps principles
• Support cloud-native deployments and container orchestration
• Monitor and improve system observability across:
• Cloud infrastructure
• AKS clusters
• Databases
• Commerce/application components
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and system reliability
• Create and maintain clear, proactive technical documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation (approx. 1 week every 4 weeks)
