Summary
SAP FICO Consultant
The Opportunity
StaffRight Associates is recruiting for an SAP FICO Consultant to join a growing automotive technology company with a strong electric-vehicle focus and a customer base that spans most of the world's largest automakers and their Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers. This hybrid position is based in Farmington Hills, MI, with three days on-site and two days from home each week. The SAP FICO Consultant will help deploy SAP ECC across four U.S. sites and then support the transition to S/4HANA, partnering directly with finance as a hands-on contributor rather than a project manager. The client offers a small-company culture with a global footprint, a strong commitment to work-life balance through hybrid and summer schedules, and real opportunity for recognition and advancement.
What You'll Do
- Deliver the SAP ECC rollout across four U.S. locations as a core member of the SAP FICO team.
- Support the subsequent upgrade from ECC to S/4HANA once the rollout is complete.
- Partner hands-on with the finance team to implement and upgrade financial and controlling systems.
- Execute work directly as an individual contributor, spending much of your time engaged with users and stakeholders rather than at a desk.
- Balance multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing effectively to keep each one on track.
- Collaborate with a global IT team spanning Mexico, Europe, and India.
What You Bring
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Subject-matter expertise in SAP FICO, in either the SAP FI (Financial Accounting) or SAP CO (Controlling) module; expertise in both is ideal.
- Hands-on SAP Rollout experience.
- Proven Multi-Project Management ability, handling several projects simultaneously.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.
- Preferred: experience in the automotive or a related industry.
Compensation & Total Rewards
- Salary: $120,000 - $135,000
- Bonus: 10%
- Engagement: Full-time, direct hire; hybrid in Farmington Hills, MI (3 days on-site, 2 days remote each week)
- Benefits: Relocation assistance available; hybrid and summer schedules that support work-life balance

Understanding and committing to our employees is critical to the growth and sustainability of StaffRight. We are of the opinion that regardless of their expertise, a successful company needs great people. The success of an employee is realized in a variety of different ways, but for us, we go well beyond one's credentials and interview. Finding the best employees who possess the needed skills, experience, and education are certainly key in a hire, but to truly find great employees who feel they are an integral part of the company, it takes tremendous insight in understanding what makes someone successful. Passion for one’s work, commitment to excellence, and having a ‘get it done’ attitude are essential for a great employee. Having these qualities also goes a long way in ensuring that an employee always has the client's best interests in mind. Great employees are passionate about their work and the company where they hang their jacket. Additionally, we believe that having refined and solid communication skills is also paramount in enabling all employees to work together towards the common goals and successes of the company. This collaboration is very much based on our employees' ability to listen to others and respond effectively, both internally with each other, and externally to our clients.
