Contract Duration: 12+ Months (W2) (Hybrid -TBD)

StaffRight Associates is currently seeking an expert Senior Full Stack .NET Developer for a long-term contract engagement for our client. This role is designed for a technical leader who excels in high-complexity environments, balancing hands-on development with high-level systems architecture and team mentorship.


The Role & Responsibilities

In this capacity, you will serve as both a lead architect and a primary contributor for enterprise-level web applications. Your core focus will include:

  • Application Modernization: Leading the migration of legacy .NET web applications into Azure Cloud environments.

  • Full-Stack Engineering: Designing and scaling applications using a robust stack including WebForms, .NET MVC, C#, SQL Server, and Angular.

  • System Architecture: Developing sophisticated web solutions featuring SSO authentication, Entity Framework Core data modeling, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

  • Technical Leadership: Overseeing complex systems analysis, defining development standards, and mentoring junior engineering staff.

  • End-to-End Collaboration: Partnering with DevOps and QA teams through the entire lifecycle, from initial technical analysis to final UAT.

  • Documentation & Strategy: Drafting comprehensive technical specifications, performing effort estimations, and evaluating emerging technologies or vendor software.


Candidate Qualifications

We are looking for a veteran developer with a deep well of experience in the Microsoft ecosystem:

  • Experience Level: 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.

  • Frontend Expertise: 5+ years working with Angular and UI frameworks like PrimeNG or KendoUI.

  • Backend Mastery: 5+ years of experience with both .NET Core (v6+) and .NET Framework (4.8) using C#.

  • Legacy & Modern Web: A strong background in ASP.NET WebForms (5+ years) coupled with modern Web API development (3+ years).

  • Data & Testing: 5+ years of SQL Server experience and 3+ years utilizing Entity Framework Core and unit testing/mocking tools.

  • Cloud & DevOps: 3+ years of hands-on Azure experience (specifically refactoring WebForms) and proficiency with GitLab for CI/CD and version control.

  • Architectural Standards: A firm command of SOLID principles and clean code practices.

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Practical experience with Dependency Injection frameworks.

  • Hands-on DevOps experience, including CI/CD scripting.

  • Previous integration work with enterprise platforms such as DocuSign or FileNet.
