Who You Are:

You are a senior OSS/BSS Architect with deep telecommunications expertise and a strong background in designing scalable, high-volume transaction platforms. You have experience working with complex telecom ecosystems and e-commerce driven sales platforms, and you understand how to architect solutions that support significant scale and performance demands. In this role, you will collaborate with client leadership and engineering teams to assess current platform limitations, design scalable architecture solutions, and guide the evolution of systems to support high transaction volumes and future growth. You are a strong communicator with the ability to lead architecture discussions, drive technical direction, and serve as a trusted advisor within large transformation programs.

As a Consultant, you’ll contribute to client engagements by delivering insights, building deliverables, and leading workstreams. You’ll be expected to bring strong analytical thinking, and a proactive mindset to solve client problems and drive transformation.

Role and Responsibilities:

You may work on various projects throughout your career with Excelacom. The roles and responsibilities noted below pertain to the specific role listed above.

• Lead architecture workshops and technical sessions with client stakeholders to evaluate current OSS/BSS platform capabilities and limitations
• Assess existing telecom sales and e-commerce architecture and recommend scalable solutions to support large enterprise customer environments
• Design scalable platform architectures capable of supporting high transaction volumes and future growth to millions of transactions
• Provide architectural guidance for OSS/BSS and API ecosystems supporting enterprise sales domains
• Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to define solution architecture and technical direction
• Serve as a key architectural advisor within the client program, driving architecture discussions and solution design decisions
• Evaluate integration points across the OSS/BSS ecosystem and recommend improvements to enhance scalability, performance, and reliability
• Document architecture designs, solution frameworks, and technical recommendations for stakeholders and development teams
• Work closely with clients to identify process improvements
• Analyze business challenges and recommend technology-driven solutions
• Support system development, integration, and testing activities
• Develop presentations, deliverables, and implementation plans
• Assist with proposals and business development efforts

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in telecommunications architecture, OSS/BSS platforms, or large-scale enterprise systems
• Deep expertise in telecom OSS/BSS ecosystems and sales domain architectures
• Experience designing scalable architectures that support high-volume transaction systems
• Telecom domain, particularly in enterprise product ordering and order management
• Understanding of complex telecom product bundles (multi-line orders, services, add-ons)
• Experience with B2B / Enterprise eCommerce platforms
• Strong understanding of API-driven platforms, integration patterns, and distributed system architecture
• Experience working with telecom sales or e-commerce platforms supporting enterprise customer environments
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions and technical solution design within complex transformation programs
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field
• Prior consulting experience – in an agile environment – with a leading strategy firm, consulting practice, or consulting technology firm
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Telecom Wireless Business is must have
• Experience with enterprise sales and digital commerce platforms within telecom environments
• Familiarity with large-scale transformation programs and modernizing legacy OSS/BSS architectures
• Designed highly scalable platform capable of handling millions of transactions
• Experience facilitating architecture workshops and driving consensus across technical and business stakeholders
• Ability to mentor engineering teams and provide architectural leadership within complex programs
