Must Have: Candidates must have 6 plus years of Quality Engineering experience in an automated testing environment, 4 plus years of experience building automation for web applications, strong experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Cucumber, Serenity or Cypress, strong experience testing REST and SOAP APIs using tools such as Rest Assured and JUnit, experience working in Agile environments, experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Artifactory, experience testing applications in AWS cloud environments, and must be a strong communicator able to collaborate across teams.

Notes: This role supports Fidelity Institutional Technology and focuses on driving quality through automation, test strategy, and CI/CD processes. Candidates should be comfortable working across multiple technologies and contributing to both development and testing efforts in a fast paced Agile environment.
Nice to Have: Experience with Docker or Kubernetes, experience creating mock services for microservices testing, experience with multiple programming languages such as Java, C#, or TypeScript, and experience with Atlassian tools such as XRay.

The Expertise we re looking for
- A bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Software engineering or related field
- 6+ years of Quality Engineering experience in an automated testing environment.
- 4+ years of experience building strong automation for web-based applications
- 4+ years of experience working in an Agile environment
- 2+ years of development experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of QA methodology and the Software Development Lifecycle using Agile principles in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe Agile)
- Experience testing enterprise applications deployed to cloud environments such as AWS.
- Experience in automated testing using Playwright, Cucumber, Serenity, Cypress or similar tools
- Automated SOAP/REST API testing
- Automated CI/CD pipeline execution and build tools including Jenkins / Jenkins Core, Artifactory, Soteri/Credential
- Multi-stack engineer with knowledge in development technologies and test automation frameworks (Java/J2EE, Cucumber, Selenium, Serenity, JavaScript/Angular, Spring, Web Services)
- Knowledge in creating mock services to use microservice
- Demonstrate a high level of motivation, confidence, integrity, and able to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are adaptable to change
- Passionate about Test Driven Development, developing robust software, writing testable and maintainable code
The Skills you bring
- Hands-on working experience any with GUI / Web Automation Testing Tool (Cucumber Serenity or similar) and Ready API.
- Hands-on working experience of testing REST or SOAP APIs (Java, JUnit, Rest Assured)
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies: CI/CD pipeline (e.g., Terracore), containers (e.g., Docker), container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and build tools including Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket
- Hands-on experience with any of the following languages: (C#, VB.Net, Angular, Typescript, Java, HTML, and XML).
- Hands-on working experience using any of the following tools (Python, Eclipse, Jenkins, Cucumber, etc.)
- Hands-on years working experience in Unit Test/Coded UI Tests/Functional Test Development.
- Experience using the Atlassian suite or any other source code management, defect tracking tools (XRay)
- Basic working knowledge of testing fundamentals such as TDD & BDD.
- Able to learn large software systems end-to-end quickly
- Keenly interested in learning new technologies
- Strong analytical and communication skills required
