The Director of Marketing Technology and Data will lead the implementation, and management of the company's marketing tech stack to enable data-driven personalization and growth, bridging IT and Marketing by overseeing data infrastructure, platform integrations, vendor management, and analytics to boost customer engagement and ROI, requiring strong technical expertise and leadership for scalable, high-impact solutions. This position drives the strategic management of the Bank's digital platforms and related components.
Leads digital platform innovations through an understanding of macro trends within and outside the financial services industry impacting client behaviors and expectations. Collaborates with channel managers, business leaders, and other key stakeholders on a digital platform road map that delivers a superior, consistent client experience across all Bank channels. Positions the Bank to attract and retain targeted client segments through competitive digital initiatives. Identifies and utilizes vendors that can augment existing platforms or capabilities. Develops business plans, policies, and procedures as appropriate to enhance client engagement and platform performance.
Responsibilities
Platform Management -
Manage high-impact digital transformation engagements, working with senior executives to drive customer experience innovation, technology adoption, and organizational change.
Develop and implement strategic roadmaps that align marketing, data, customer experience, and technology ecosystems, ensuring enterprises realize the full value of Adobe Experience Cloud solutions.
Collects and activates business requirements inside MarTech platforms.
Monitors financial and business performance measures to manage the success of digital initiatives.
Recommends tactics to improve client acquisition, relationship expansion, satisfaction, and engagement while also enhancing internal efficiencies and revenue generation.
Assesses current capabilities to identify improvement opportunities, and implements solutions Leads budgeting, resource allocation, and expense management activities.
Develops business plans, policies, and procedures to improve customer engagement and to optimize platform performance.
Vendor Management -
Leads all facets of vendor selection, including negotiation and integration.
Identifies and selects potential vendors or third parties that can augment existing capabilities or platforms.
Manages existing vendor relationships to enable reliable performance and relevancy in the Bank's markets.
Market Strategy -
Leads innovation of digital platform capabilities through an understanding of macro trends and impact on client behaviors and expectations.
Establishes and executes a digital platform strategy delivering a differentiated client experience to facilitate acquisition efforts.
Prioritizes strategies based on return on investment, client value, or alignment with wider strategic objectives.
Elevate the Digital Platforms team by contributing with Adobe's thought leadership, best practices, and influencing internal processes.
Platform Development -
Leads the digital platform product development process.
Partners on the successful launch of new capabilities in a way that minimizes risk and client disruption while exceeding expected adoption, usage, and financial goals.
Data Management -
Maintain integrations to enterprise data sources and manage marketing platform integrations into central enterprise data platforms.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Digital channels and products in Financial Services OR High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Digital channels and products in Financial Services
Preferred Area of Experience: Digital channel/platform management
Preferred Skills:
Deep expertise in Adobe Experience Cloud solutions, including real-time personalization, process automation, and data-driven decision-making.
Shown success in leading high-profile, executive-level digital transformation projects with Fortune 500 clients.
Ability to perform budgeting, P&L management, and business case development.
Experience managing a cross-functional collaboration team across marketing, IT, product, and analytics.
Ability to correctly assess business opportunities or problems, establish financial implications, and evaluate decisions.
Ability to network within the industry and determine best practices in digital delivery.
