Note:  Must be WI resident or willing to relocate within 30 days of start date at own expense.   90-100% remote but can require staff to come onsite as necessary with sufficient notice. Onsite work is not likely, but candidate should be prepared to come onsite if required.

Background:

• The candidate will be responsible for migrating mappings, mapplets, sessions, and workflows from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC. 
• Assist in ETL design, development, testing, maintenance, metadata, and implementation of data warehouse initiatives.
• Understand user requirements and implement solutions that ensure requirements can be achieved through high-quality deliverables.
• Develop ETL mapping specifications for loading information into the data warehouse and for ensuring reliability of information loaded.
• Seek continuous improvement in performance & tuning of data warehouse and ensure security of data.
• Works with other IT technical teams and Business users to understand requirements and recommend & implement solutions.
• Closely supervised with some latitude for independent judgment.
• Typically requires at least 4 to 5 years of experience or equivalent education.

Required Skills:

• Experience in migration of assets from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC, including testing, validation, and performance tuning (2+ years)
• Moderate experience in data warehousing process design, development, performance & tuning using the Informatica data warehousing tool suite – both IDMC and PowerCenter (4+ years)
• Developing skills in the architecture of data warehouse and data integration strategies and solutions
• Knowledge in relational database technologies, e.g. Oracle, DB2, SQL Server and strong data management and data analysis using SQL (3+ years)
