Job Title: Principal AI Architect

Location- Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary Principal AI Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale AI and machine learning solutions. This role is responsible for defining AI strategy, architecting robust systems, and driving innovation across the organization while ensuring alignment with business goals and ethical AI practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the organization’s AI/ML architecture and long-term strategy
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance AI/ML systems and platforms
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for AI solutions
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify high-impact AI use cases
  • Oversee end-to-end AI solution lifecycle (data ingestion, model development, deployment, monitoring)
  • Establish best practices for model governance, explainability, and ethical AI
  • Lead and mentor teams of data scientists, ML engineers, and architects
  • Drive adoption of MLOps practices and automation pipelines
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards
  • Stay current with emerging AI trends and bring innovation into the organization

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
  • 12–15+ years of experience in software engineering, data science, or AI/ML
  • Proven experience designing and deploying large-scale AI/ML systems
  • Strong expertise in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
  • Deep understanding of data architecture, cloud platforms, and distributed systems
  • Experience with APIs, microservices, and system integration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Generative AI, NLP, or computer vision solutions
  • Hands-on experience with cloud AI services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Knowledge of big data technologies (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop)
  • Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.)
  • Strong background in MLOps, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
