Summary
Position: Mechanical Engineer Oil & Gas
Location: Tulsa, OK (Onsite)
Exp: 5 - 10 years
No OPT/CPT candidates
What You will Do:
- To investigate and propose engineering solutions to address field and manufacturing issues on ESP(Electrical submersible Pump), PCP, Gas Lift, or Rod Lift tools.
- To review concessions, perform form-fit-function analysis and provide dispositions.
- To create appropriate test plans to evaluate new design / design changes and coordinate with testing facilities.
- Develop and/or modify designs related to Oil & gas components by analyzing product specifications, performance requirements, and existing manufacturing capabilities
- Checking all components of an assembly will assemble and function properly
- Design for Manufacturing Review and drawings reviewed for manufacturing feasibility
- Creating parametric 3D Models, Assembly and 2D drawings as per Customer and ASME standards using SolidWorks
- Knowledge of GD&T and Tolerance stack-up analysis
- Implementation of Electronic change request (ECR) which involves modification of Drawings, BOM, procedures accordingly
- Knowledge in processing Request for Technical Assistance (RTA)
- Updating documentation through Revision control, Product Attribute control, and Change Descriptions
- Adhere to process checkpoints to ensure design/customer standards are followed
