Summary

Be Part Of A High-Performing Team:

Join a collaborative life sciences technology and Quality organization expanding the use of ServiceNow across regulated business operations. This initiative will establish ServiceNow as a validated platform supporting Quality processes, incident management, asset management, and configuration data. The program brings together Information Technology, Quality, Computer System Validation, business-process leaders, technical vendors, and subject-matter experts in a highly visible enterprise initiative.

The environment is detailed, compliance-driven, and cross-functional. Success will require a senior leader who can establish structure, rebuild the delivery plan, manage competing priorities, and keep a large group of stakeholders aligned toward a targeted first-quarter 2027 launch.

What's In Store For You:

Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)

This is a primarily remote contract opportunity open to candidates located throughout the United States. East Coast candidates are preferred because the program operates primarily during Eastern Time business hours.

Occasional travel may be required for major stakeholder meetings, testing sessions, or other critical program events. Approved business travel will be reimbursed.

How You Will Make An Impact:
  • Lead a complex, multi-workstream ServiceNow GxP validation program supporting expansion of the platform into the Quality organization.
  • Rebuild and rebaseline the project plan, including milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, testing activities, and delivery timelines.
  • Oversee the vendor responsible for ServiceNow configuration and technical implementation.
  • Coordinate work across Quality, Information Technology, Computer System Validation, business process owners, and subject-matter experts.
  • Manage validation requirements, workflows, process flows, testing plans, approvals, and regulated documentation.
  • Support the onboarding of Quality systems and configuration items into the ServiceNow CMDB.
  • Guide work related to ServiceNow incident management, asset management, and configuration management.
  • Lead a sizable project team that includes business process owners and approximately 20 subject-matter experts.
  • Identify and resolve risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery roadblocks.
  • Establish clear ownership and accountability across internal teams and external partners.
  • Facilitate working sessions, leadership updates, testing events, and decision-making meetings.
  • Ensure project activities and documentation align with GxP requirements and applicable validation standards.
  • Support readiness activities leading to a targeted first-quarter 2027 go-live.
  • Travel onsite when needed for major meetings or testing events.

Do you have the expertise to lead regulated technology validation programs?
  • Seven or more years of senior project or program management experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading large, complex, cross-functional enterprise initiatives.
  • Strong experience working in GxP-regulated environments.
  • Computer System Validation experience or significant experience leading the validation of regulated systems.
  • Experience managing detailed requirements, workflows, process documentation, testing plans, validation deliverables, and approvals.
  • Ability to build, rebaseline, and manage detailed project plans across multiple workstreams.
  • Experience coordinating business process owners, subject-matter experts, technical teams, Quality partners, and external vendors.
  • Strong ability to manage highly detailed Quality stakeholders and structured review processes.
  • Excellent communication, organization, facilitation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence teams and drive accountability without direct authority.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Ability to work primarily during Eastern Time business hours.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for major meetings and testing events.

Preferred qualifications include:
  • ServiceNow implementation or validation experience.
  • ServiceNow CMDB experience.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow incident management and asset management.
  • Experience overseeing a ServiceNow implementation or validation partner.
  • Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or broader life sciences experience.
