We are looking for an EXPERT Epic Principal Trainer – Patient Access to manage the Patient Access training plan for the implementation of an EHR project for the Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities.
CANDIDATE MUST BE CERTIFIED IN the FOLLOWING EPIC APPLICATION MODULES:
· Grand Central Curriculum Certification
· Prelude Curriculum Certification
· Cadence Curriculum Certification
· TED105 Training Wheels Behind the Scenes
· TED300 Training Environment Build Certification
Key Duties:
- Developing role-based training content, independently or with team members, using a variety of software
programs, tools, and applications such as Microsoft Office.
- Designing, developing and maintaining instructional materials.
- Maintaining policy and procedure documentation.
- Incorporating feedback from others into existing training and training administration procedures
- Learning new content and consulting with subject matter experts to develop training materials and answer
any participant questions.
- Assisting with building and testing of training environments (MST environments), and providing support and troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborating with other trainers by co-facilitating classroom instruction and assisting with exercises as
needed.
- Preparing training lessons, printing materials, and setting up the training room and environment prior to
the training session.
- Presenting information verbally and in writing in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
- Following up with trainees outside of the classroom to offer additional support.
- Serving as an expert educator to state staff.
- Training and credentialing additional classroom trainers as needed (train-the-trainer).
- Training staff and end users by teaching technical topics as needed.
- Managing assignments by prioritizing assignments and by creating and adhering to timelines.
Required Skills:
· Experience as an Epic-certified Principal Trainer – Required – 5 Years
· PT 4 Certification (Cadence Enterprise Scheduling, Prelude Registration, Grand Central Patient Flow with Transfer Center) – Required
· Ability to work without close supervision and ensure training sessions/materials meet Epic standards – Required
· Experience in adult education (Health IT or Healthcare Revenue Cycle) – Required – 3 Years
· Flexibility in adapting training content and delivery methods – Required
· Demonstrated ownership of work activities; completes tasks accurately, efficiently, and timely – Required
· Ability to learn new content and develop strong training programs – Required
· Strong presentation skills; engages audience and handles questions effectively – Required – 3 Years
· Ability to read, analyze, and draw accurate conclusions from written material – Required
· Certified in developing Epic training environments – Highly Desired – 3 Years
