Job Summary
We are seeking a Web/Digital QA Tester with strong experience in manual testing of iOS and Android applications to support the Starbucks NGA App platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating web and mobile applications, ensuring high-quality releases through comprehensive testing, defect management, and integration validation across multiple systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Web and Digital platforms (iOS and Android).
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for mobile and web applications.
Validate integrations with payment gateways, inventory systems, loyalty/rewards platforms, and back-office applications.
Conduct end-to-end transaction testing including cash, credit/debit cards, mobile wallets, discounts, returns, and void transactions.
Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
Perform retesting and regression validation after fixes.
Support automation of POS and digital test scenarios where applicable.
Ensure testing processes align with compliance, security, and quality standards.
Prepare and share detailed test reports, metrics, and improvement recommendations.
Required Skills
Strong experience in Manual Testing for Web and Mobile Applications (iOS & Android).
Experience with functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Knowledge of payment systems, POS workflows, and digital transaction testing.
Experience testing mobile wallets, payment gateways, loyalty programs, and retail applications.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Understanding of end-to-end testing in digital commerce or retail environments.
Preferred Skills
Experience with POS or retail application testing.
Exposure to test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, or similar).
Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or REST clients.
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
