Your Responsibilities

As a Product Engineer for John Deere SouthEast Engineering Center located in Augusta, GA, you will be responsible for vehicle design, utilizing the Product delivery Process (PDP) and Continuous Improvement process (CI) for the Compact Utility business. In addition, you will:

  • Be responsible for the strategy, design, and integration of vehicle components
  • Collaborate with vehicle program teams
  • Be a leader in supporting Compact Utility factories and customer problem resolution teams

What Skills You Need

  • 3+ years of experience in product design
  • 3+ years of experience in PDP or CI process execution
  • Proven experience communicating and working with cross functional teams
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Creo 3D modeling skills
  • PDM Windchill and SAP skills

What Makes You Standout

  • Compact Utility Tractor design experience
  • Experience in systems engineering methodology
  • Experience with operation and maintenance of off road equipment

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering
