What You?ll Be Doing
You?ll be in the field handling installation, service, and repair of:
- \tOverhead doors (commercial and industrial)
- \tLoading dock equipment (levelers, seals, restraints)
- \tGarage doors and operators
- \tSecurity gates and grilles
- \tMechanical and electrical components tied to door systems
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- \tDiagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues
- \tPerforming preventative maintenance and inspections
- \tInstalling new systems and replacing components
- \tWorking from work orders, schematics, and manuals
- \tEnsuring all work is completed safely and up to code
- \tCommunicating with customers on-site
What You Bring
2+ years of experience with:
- \tOverhead doors
- \tDock equipment
- \tGarage doors
- \tOR a similar mechanical/electrical trade
- \tStrong mechanical aptitude
- \tBasic electrical troubleshooting ability
- \tAbility to work independently in the field
- \tValid driver?s license
Bonus Points (Not Required)
- \tExperience with dock levelers, edge-of-dock units, or restraints
- \tWelding or fabrication experience
- \tExperience with access control or low voltage systems
- \tOSHA 10 or 30
Pay + Perks
- \t$25?$35/hour (some locations up to $40/hour depending on experience)
- \tOvertime:
- \t1.5x standard overtime
- \tDouble time on Sundays and holidays
