Position: Cloud Engineer with Azure Event Hub

Location: Seattle, WA - Hybrid (Remote also fine)

Duration: Long Term

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with a strong background in Azure Cloud Services, specifically in Azure Event Hub Replication. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions that leverage Azure technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure Event Hub Replication solutions to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate Azure services into applications and workflows.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, processes, and procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders regarding Azure Cloud Services.
• Stay updated on the latest Azure features and best practices to continuously improve cloud solutions.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues in a timely manner.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Azure Cloud Services, with a focus on Azure Event Hub Replication.
• Proficient in cloud architecture design and implementation.
• Experience with Azure monitoring and management tools.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Storage.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Python, or Java.
• Certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Developer) are a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Azure technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
