Job Title: Senior UI React Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior React Developer to join our team on a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React.js, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and front-end development best practices, with a proven ability to build scalable, high-performance web applications. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, responsive user experiences while contributing throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Build reusable and maintainable UI components while implementing efficient state management using Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or similar technologies.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling frameworks, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and accessibility.
• Integrate and consume RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between front-end and backend systems.
• Optimize application performance through code optimization, lazy loading, code splitting, and performance tuning techniques.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while maintaining clean, secure, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions while promoting front-end development best practices.
• Write unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library (RTL) to ensure application reliability and code quality.
• Utilize Git for version control and collaborate within CI/CD development workflows.
• Stay up to date with the latest React ecosystem advancements, JavaScript trends, and UI/UX best practices to continuously improve application quality.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) following Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience in front-end web application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with React Hooks, component-based architecture, and state management using Redux, Redux Toolkit, or Context API.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, and modern CSS frameworks or preprocessors.
• Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Git and modern front-end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Vite.
• Experience with unit testing using Jest and React Testing Library (RTL).
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Next.js and server-side rendering concepts.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or similar UI frameworks.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and cross-browser development.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployment environments.
