Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is currently looking for a Quality Engineer to join our City of Industry team!

Salary Rate: $100K - $120K

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
    \t
  • Develop,maintain, and advanceCPPquality systems, procedures,and practices
  • \t
  • Able to interpret customer drawings, specifications,reportsand basic working knowledge of GD&T
  • \t
  • Communicate with customers to resolve/address quality system concerns/inquires
  • \t
  • Routinelyaudit production lots for adherence toestablishedtechniques and to ensure the repeatability of the results
  • \t
  • Participation during customer/external audits including preparation,guidanceand closure
  • \t
  • Active participation in continuous improvement efforts
  • \t
  • Responsiblefor quality enforcement of casting manufacturing process.Continuous improvement of process/productsuch thatcastings meet or exceed customer expectations
  • \t
  • Support the identification of process yield issues using various data analysis techniques (statistical, mathematical, DOE, 6 Sigma, etc.) to uncover variables in the process that are notmaintainedin a controlled fashion
  • \t
  • Generate quality shipment documentation including certificates of conformance and other quality audit checklists
  • \t
  • Drive closure of preventative/corrective actions, customer returns/inquires
  • \t
  • Manage resolution of non-conforming material/processes
  • \t
  • Interact with CPP NDT level III personnel to ensure product compliance
  • \t
  • Good written communication skills arerequiredto develop internal job instructions
  • \t
  • Support Gage R&R studies, process capability, SPC, correlation and other data related statistical activities
  • \t
  • Familiar with FMEA, Control Plan and PPAP documentation

QUALIFICATIONS
    \t
  • BS in Engineering or 3-5 years of applicable experience (quality systems, and/or training)
  • \t
  • Strong communicationskills (written and verbal), PCskillsand program management skills
  • \t
  • Knowledge of quality systems, auditing practices, Six Sigma principles, and Lean Manufacturing
  • \t
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and documentation skills
  • \t
  • The successful candidate?s career will show increasing levels of responsibility

  • Motivated individual with data driven problem solving techniques.
