Job Description: Elastic Platform Engineer

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support Elastic Stack (ELK) solutions across development, staging, and production environments
Configure and manage Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats, and related components
Execute platform designs and roadmaps in alignment with architecture and leadership teams
Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and scalability improvements for Elastic clusters
Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, including root cause analysis and production support
Develop dashboards and visualizations using Kibana for observability, analytics, and SIEM use cases
Build and manage data ingestion pipelines for structured and unstructured data
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure system integration and interoperability
Maintain platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, and best practices
Document configurations, processes, and operational runbooks
Contribute to automation and CI/CD initiatives using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in platform engineering, systems engineering, or similar roles
Strong hands-on experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats)
Experience working with distributed systems, logging, and monitoring platforms
Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize production environments
Experience with performance tuning and high availability systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
