Position: Agent Gateway & Platform Integration Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:

The Agent Gateway & Platform Integration Engineer will build governed model routing, agent-to-agent connectivity, MCP integrations, reusable connectors, SDK migration utilities, and platform integration patterns that enable scalable Agentic AI development on Tachyon. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on production-grade services and enterprise integration.

Key Responsibilities
Design, build, test, and maintain integration services for Agent Gateway and related platform capabilities.
Implement MCP connectivity, agent-to-agent interaction patterns, reusable tools, and enterprise system integrations.
Build governed model routing, API-based services, SDK utilities, and reusable integration patterns.
Implement authentication, authorization, auditability, observability, resilience, and automated testing controls.
Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, security, and platform teams to deliver production-ready capabilities.
Support CI/CD, code quality, documentation, troubleshooting, and operational readiness.
Help migrate or standardize existing SDK/integration patterns into reusable Tachyon platform capabilities.

Required Qualifications
7+ years of software engineering experience with enterprise platforms, integration services, APIs, or cloud-native applications.
7+ years of Strong hands-on Python development experience.
7+ years of Experience building REST APIs, SDKs, reusable libraries, integration services, or platform services.
7+ years of Experience with CI/CD, Git, automated testing, containers, and production operations.
Understanding of authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, and secure integration patterns.
Required Skills / Knowledge
Python, REST APIs, SDK design, MCP concepts, agent interoperability, integration architecture, CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud-native engineering.
Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, Google ADK, or similar Agentic AI frameworks.
Observability, telemetry, resilience, API security, and production troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise AI platforms, GenAI applications, RAG systems, multi-agent systems, or developer platforms.
Kubernetes, cloud platforms, event-driven integrations, and regulated enterprise delivery experience.
Banking or financial services experience.

Expected Outcomes

Improved model routing, platform integration, and SDK adoption.
