About the Role
We are hiring a Front End Developer (React Accessibility & Security) to join our client s Global Information Security team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most innovative financial services organizations in the U.S. You ll help drive secure application development while ensuring digital accessibility compliance across enterprise platforms.
This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and accessible front-end applications while collaborating closely with cybersecurity and backend engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop scalable, secure front-end applications using React and TypeScript
Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.2, Section 508, and ADA accessibility standards
Identify and remediate accessibility defects discovered during testing
Collaborate with backend developers to improve usability and application integration
Support Identity & Access Management (IAM) integrations including SSO, OAuth, and MFA
Participate in full SDLC activities: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
Coordinate and support large-scale application upgrades and enhancements
Provide subject matter expertise on secure programming and accessibility best practices
What We re Looking For
5+ years of experience as a Front End Developer (React preferred)
Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
Hands-on experience with WCAG 2.2, Section 508, or ADA accessibility compliance
Experience identifying and fixing accessibility violations
Knowledge of security protocols and IAM platforms (e.g., SSO, OAuth, MFA, Ping, Okta)
Experience working in enterprise-level environments
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Experience within financial services or banking environments is a plus
Exposure to container technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker is a plus
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $60.00 $62.00 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
