Location:
- Must be enrolled in a four-year engineering program. Must be 1-2 years away from graduation.
- Willingness to work in a plant/manufacturing environment.
- Experience with software such as
- Microsoft Office tools
- Design and Drafting Software: SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- PLC/HMI Programming Software: Siemens Fanuc, Allen Bradley, etc.
- Software Development: C++, Visual Studio, Basic, etc.
- Capability to reach electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulic machine prints
- Hands-on experience with engines and machining is preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and take initiative
- Consistently demonstrate critical and innovative thinking skills
- Project Management skills preferred
- Must be able to collaborate and work effectively with anyone
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with designing and troubleshooting electronic circuits, electrical control cabinets, and integrated PLC/CNC systems
- Assist with maintaining machine software, machine backups, and maintenance electrical PM routines
- Analyzes operational problems and develops modifications in design/programming to improve efficiency
- Assist with training in installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
- Assist with updating documentation for maintenance procedures
- Assist in process improvements and cost reduction projects
- Participate and/or lead problem solving activities
- Other duties as assigned
