About This Role

Responsibilities

  • Provide test engineering support to identify and develop necessary test equipment, fixtures, and facilities in accordance with customer specifications and requirements for both next generation technologies and proven platforms that support and protect our deployed warfighter
  • Requirements gathering and analysis based on engineering design documentation
  • Interface with product development and systems teams to determine appropriate test strategy and coverage for functional requirements
  • Fulfill daily responsibilities including research and developing electrical design concepts performance calculations, and hands-on support of lab testing and troubleshooting
  • Growth in electrical engineering expertise as opportunities in analog and digital circuits, cable design, debugging of electrical assemblies are presented
  • Perform data collection activities including setup and operation of high-speed cameras, telemetry systems, onboard instrumentation, and data recorders
  • Develop aspects of test stations utilizing state of the art PXI, LAN, USB and other instrumentation in a context of automated parametric measurements
  • Utilize textural scripting languages for programming low level instrumentation for measurements gathering
  • Assist with the design, develop, and document test equipment required for new and existing electronic products and assist with transition of this equipment to Production Test Engineering
  • Author process, test, documentation, and calibration procedures geared for all audiences
  • Must have strong written and verbal communications skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and minimum of 5+ years of related experience
  • Active Secret clearance preferred; Secret eligibility required
