Education Requirements


  • Associate degree in a technical field required

  • Bachelor's degree preferred


Experience Requirements


  • 7+ years of mechanical assembly experience

  • Prior leadership experience in a prototype, engineering, or advanced manufacturing environment

  • Advanced CAD and mechanical troubleshooting experience

  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation

  • Strong knowledge of machining, materials, tolerances, and fabrication methods


Job Duties


  • Lead end-to-end assembly of prototype equipment and mechanical systems

  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications

  • Modify, assemble, troubleshoot, and test complex mechanical assemblies

  • Work with sheet metal components, machining processes, and fabrication methods

  • Support automation, hydraulic, and pneumatic system integration

  • Assist with project estimating, labor planning, and cost control

  • Mentor and train technicians on assembly processes and best practices

  • Drive continuous improvement, quality standards, and workplace safety


Physical Capabilities


  • Ability to work with mechanical tools, machinery, and prototype equipment

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching

  • Ability to lift and move components and materials as needed

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing and engineering environment
