Summary

Requirements:
  • Experience with Agile methodology, DevOps, DevSecOps, Continuous Integration CI/CD
  • Experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX) architecture including hands on experience in Installation, Configuration and Administration
  • Experience in Oracle APEX Metadata Administration with Data modeling
  • Experience with Oracle database performance tuning for large APEX applications
  • Experience using Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and RESTful web services (ORDS - Oracle Rest Data Service)
  • Experience with Data and Web security with SSL and Multifactor Authentication including experience with SAML / Active Directory, etc. integration with Oracle APEX applications
  • Incorporate AI-driven engineering practices throughout development and modernization activities
  • Experience using AI technologies like GitHub Copilot or similar
  • Incorporate Single Sign-On
  • Experience creating a technical vision and direction plan based on the requirements of the project.
  • Experience in developing high-level product specifications and communicating all ideas, concepts and guidelines to the project team
  • Experience in overseeing the development of applications and providing technical guidance/mentoring to other developers
  • Ability to ensure software meets all laws and requirements of quality, security, modifiability, accessibility, extensibility, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience of Section 508 Requirements
  • Experience implementing NIST, FEDRAMP Security controls
  • Execute the modernization build in an Agile fashion.

Responsibilities:
  • Modernize and improve the current systems using the Oracle APEX technology stack.
  • Complete modernization and migration of all Legacy Oracle Forms Applications to APEX
  • Improve overall system performance, supportability, reliability and availability.
  • Establish best practices for development and implement software packages, templates, etc. to direct this.
  • Establish fully automated GitHub-based DevSecOps processes for Oracle APEX applications to ensure consistent deployments, daily backups, automated repository maintenance, and improved traceability.
  • Create automated, continuous security scanning processes for ARIS APEX applications, APIs, and cloud-hosted assets to meet FISMA, NIST requirements.
  • Provide API end points for internal/external agency consumption based on use cases.
  • Automate Section 508 compliance validation for all modules to ensure conformance with WCAG 2.0/2.1 A & AA, and all requirements

Education:
Undergraduate Degree in a Technical Discipline from an accredited institution or equivalent in applicable experience
